Car Loadout

Terms of service

Last updated October 30, 2026

Car Loadout is a personal project for planning car builds. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Fit checks are guidance, not a guarantee

Fit checks compare a part's published specs with your car's factory specs. They can't see your car's actual condition, earlier modifications, or production differences, and some specs haven't been verified yet (pages show which). Before you buy or install a part, confirm fitment with the seller or a qualified installer.

California legality checks look up whether a part has a CARB Executive Order. They aren't legal advice and don't cover other states, inspections, or how a part is installed.

Installing parts can be dangerous. You're responsible for how you modify and drive your car.

Prices and stores

Prices come from stores and can be out of date. The store's price at checkout is the one that counts. Purchases happen on the store's site, under its terms; we don't sell parts. Some store links are affiliate links (see the affiliate disclosure).

Wishlist claims and chip-ins are pledges between friends. No money moves through Car Loadout.

Your account

What you post

You own the builds, photos, comments, questions and answers you post. By posting something public, you let Car Loadout store and show it on the site. That permission ends when you delete it.

Please don't post anything that:

We may remove posts or close accounts that break these rules. To report something, write to the contact address (being set up; it will be listed here).

Using the site

Don't try to get around sign-in or privacy settings, read other people's private data, overload the site, or copy the catalog with automated tools.

No warranty

Car Loadout is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. It may have mistakes, be unavailable, or change. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using it, including parts that don't fit or a car that isn't street legal.

Changes, law and questions

When these terms change, the date at the top changes too. California law governs them. Questions go to the contact address (being set up; it will be listed here).
